Inspiring Faith is a ministry that began through our desire to simply inspire faith in others. It is a natural outpouring resulting from what God began in our lives in a dramatic, spectacular way. Our Story
The Night that Changed Our Lives...
Our supernatural journey of faith began on November 7, 2000 with one powerful word given to Lorraine by God in the middle of the night:
“Go!” It was loud and commanding, as though a Presence stood over her with a megaphone, causing her to jolt awake. To go is one of the highest callings a believer can receive. It is a word that carries us still.
On that night, we learned that God still speaks. He has a voice, and He wants to be heard. Our journey with Jesus has never been the same.
“Supernatural reality will always trump natural reality.”
We weren't always so comfortable with the supernatural realities found in a life of faith. For years, we went out of our way to avoid anything that was unfamiliar, anything that took us out of our “safe and respectable” comfort zone.
One moment with God changed our perspective completely.
Living life from a supernatural reality means that we trust in God's promises more than we trust in what our eyes can see. With this new perspective, we make room for God to move on our behalf. And He has, time and again! We've seen answers to prayer as Gabriel was miraculously healed after living with cancer for more than 20 years. We've been given assignments that go well beyond our natural abilities to complete on our own—experiencing the truth that “I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.” Out of this renewed mindset, Lorraine became an author, writing several books and a screenplay that is in development.
When we yielded to His desires above our own, He opened up a brand new way of living life. It's exciting... rewarding... and always an adventure in the making. We are intentional to listen for His voice and obey what He calls us to do. This life of faith goes beyond all we could have asked or imagined. His love and faithfulness never end.
